Born in a small town in rural Georgia, son to classic movie buff parents, Atreyu Holm quickly learnt what he wanted to do. Tell stories with light. With plenty of free time and the open space of west Georgia, he would create reenactments of Star Wars and the first time he got in trouble in elementary school was for quoting Gone With The Wind. "Frankly I don't give a damn" has been almost a creed for pursuing his passion ever since - don't listen to the naysayers, follow your dreams.

After finishing his BFA at SCAD, Atreyu worked in live production and marketing video. From there, he wanted to go into creative work for advertising and marketing and decided to round off his film education, receiving a MFA at AAU in Post Production in hopes to master all three parts of production.

It was at AAU where Atreyu achieved his first notoriety as the first student to premiere their work at the Cannes Film Festival. His short film Finding Sally was well received and helped steer him in the direction of feature filmmaking, a dream he hopes to one day see come true.

Currently, Atreyu is living in New York with 4 dogs and a cat, his two closest friends, and working on his next film.
